Social Care Support Reason panel to support ASC data maturity

Notts County Council are progressing with adult social care data maturity and would like share social care support reasons. There is already and agreed Data Standard (InterweaveSocialCareSupportReason), however there is no panel that can be enabled in the Portal.

They will currently appear in the Conditions panel … however a number of the Mandatory/Must Support/Optional fields on the Support Reason Profile would not be shown, i.e.

Mandatory fields

  • supportReasonPeriod.start The date that the person started to receive support for this support reason.

Must Support fields

  • supportReasonPeriod.end Should be populated with the date that the person stopped receiving support for this reason.

  • primarySupportReason This is an extension required by social care to specify whether this is the person’s primary reason for support. It is simple true/false field and should be offered where known.

Optional fields

  • note use note to enter further detail on the support reason.

Once there is proper panel social care support reasons, we wouldn't want them displaying in the Conditions one.

As a As an adult Social Care Data Provider
I would like Share Social Care Support Reasons
So that Users elsewhere in the system can have a better understanding of the patient, and make more informed decisions.
Other information

Previously it has been stated that should be a panel for every agreed data standard, so this gap is possibly an oversight.
