@Guest going to mark this as 'will not implement'. As mentioned above, the ask has changed. This isn't turning all features on/off, this is turning new features on at release.
I think as part of sprint review (or before), we should consider whether a feature should be switched on for all at release. If agreed, we can create a config to switch on for all tenancies.
@Guest can we revisit this in next week's workshop session? The ask has changed from the original idea, so I think we just need to collectively consider if this would be a useful addition. An alternative could be updating our standard operating procedure for changes to indicate whether they should be switched on for all tenancies on release or not.
Feedback on the call was that the problem statement needs to include switch on/off for when new tenancy is created. This allows admin to bulk change and save them time
Whenever a new panel or feature is released to the product, each tenant admin has to go in and manually enable that new item. Sometimes this can take time or the tenant admin may not be available or have forgotten how, particularly for larger organisations. Could there be away that at tenancy creation they can 'opt-in' to all future changes and thus not have to worry about switching new panels/features on by default.
@Guest we agreed in our last workshop that this needed reframing as a problem statement so we can collectively analyse solutions. Going to move the status of this ticket to 'Awaiting Feedback' for now.
Thanks, Rochelle. Had a chat with Hollie about this and she thinks it would be a really useful feature.
I'm going to promote this idea to our backlog.
Great idea
