In the detailed panels for encounters, attendances etc there are a good number of fields which contain 'Not Provided' allowing these to be hidden or collapsed to make room for user managed manipulation of column widths would vastly tidy up the screen real estate.
These user managed UI settings need to be saved as user specific preferances and NOT revert to default on termination of session. Context launch creates a new session per patient launch and would become tiresome if they were lost after every patient.
hi, data provision is variable, so what's 'not provided' by 1 organisation might be being provided by others, so it would be wrong to hide and difficult for the UI to establish where all values = not provider, then hide
there may also be concerns around Clinical Safety
the answer to this issue is data maturity, i.e. encouraging all organisations to provide a full data set to match the resource profile
that said, I think there is room for improvement so I will link this to another UI related idea and promote for further consideration
