Enhance Interweave Connect to allow it to be used as a “wrapper” in front of other FHIR APIs that are not fully aligned with the Interweave specifications.
This is initially required by York, to enable them to become a fully compliant FHIR endpoint, offering the full range of FHIR Resources and Queries. However aspects of it are likely to be used by other sites – for example Mid Yorks, TEWV and maybe others in future.
There is already some functionality to place “traps” on incoming queries which allow requests to be forwarded to another API. However to complete the functionality three specific technical changes will need to be made
• decompose queries which include or reverse include resources into multiple queries for single resource types prior to evaluating traps;
• evaluate subscriptions on a schedule for data sourced by on-demand traps;
• provide configurable rules for cached data and only evaluate traps if the cache is stale.
Ah OK, no immediate actions then.

Apologies Debbie, this Idea was still linked to the Design task, rather than a build task, so only the design has been shipped
We need to build the foundation of the new product before engaging directly with EUOs to address their particular need, at which point I can re-attach this Idea to a specific build task in Aha, which will better represent the status
Hi Ian
I received the update to the Aha Idea below and wondered what this meant from a practical next step for YSFT perspective? Would now be a good time to arrange a technical discussion meeting to discuss next steps? If so, who would be best to include from an Interweave / Synanetics perspective please?
Many thanks,
Debbie Westmoreland

Hi Debbie, I've corrected the status, it's in design this sprint with a view to building next sprint
Hi Ian - a little confused that this one has been re-marked as 'in progress' following recent conversations? Is this a change to proposed plan? Many thanks,
As per quote received and email requesting that we approve via this portal please can you proceed with the development to support YSFT with their data provision maturity developments.
Hi Debbie, estimate sent via email
thanks Debbie, we will promote this for estimation
