Have contacted NHSE who have advised they are progressing conversations to allow additional demographic information to be supplied via the PDS.
They have challenges with their legal team, but they hope to progress by the end of this calendar year.
In the meantime, I will mark this as future consideration as we can't progress until they do.

I'm reviewing older 'Planned' ideas to ensure the things we've committed to review, we have a plan to deliver.

but we will certainly display the 'must support' fields and I will create a backlog feature to build these into the portal UI
other fields are classified as optional but that may change based on feedback

Marital Status - is a field in the Portal already - Does that mean it'll show if provided? (can't see in any test data)
Language, Ethnicity, Religion - are within our FHIR IG profiles - As above?

Nationality and Immigration Status - not sure how these impact health and care? I believe there are pending conversations with PRSB - Response from local social care provider: "At the very least, recording and knowing the information helps with determining who draws on the services and potential costs, trends etc.
Some services/benefits need to be paid for by non-nationals, and that applies to health care and especially social care. But PRSB can help with clarification on such matters.
Note: whilst a lot of NHS Health care is free at point of care, that is not the case for social care which is dependent on nationality/residence, as well as financial and needs assessments. "
Are the councils intending to provide data for these fields? If so, we'll need to add them to the Portal roadmap - Yes, they can (and we can add it to the local authority data mapping backlog). I'll ensure anything mapped will align to national standards (working with PRSB), relevant SNOMED code sets and the work being done on data standards in YHCR.
