For the TPP Non-GP data feeds, the number of units available across organisations is and will continue to (as S1 provision expands) make it difficult for users to navigate to the Unit/Org of interest.
From a User-Centred Design perspective, an alphabetical tab list is predictable but not always efficient—especially as the list grows. To improve navigation, we would like to support different user behaviours: scanning, searching, remembering, and prioritising.

Jump to letter (A-Z index)
Prioritisation - star or pin tabs - persist across sessions
Recently used - auto generated from user behaviour
Most popular - based on system useage
Grouping
Custom sorting
Responsiveness - collapsible/overflow handling
Scanability - icons with titles/lablels etc
