Every clinician we have spoken to on our 3 day tour of the YHCR in North Lincs and Goole has said how the Allergies/Meds showing 0 has led to some confusion about the patient and that having to navigate to the GP Data tab is a risk.
Having to remember to check it, particularly for new users has been a consistent theme from all clinicians.

This request for change is very useful as the initial page has misleading information and could lead to patient harm, either through not viewing medications and re-prescribing meds that contra-indicate the patients condition or previously prescribed meds and not showing allergies. This has been highlighted by the Emergency Department. An initial pop up to explain the data shown and how to access GP data is needed.
