Currently, the configuration option for TPP S1 Non-GP unit visibility only allows portal administrators in a region to switch on and off all the units that have been enabled by TPP for sharing.
However, during our clinical safety testing and data quality investigations it has become clear that not all units are suitable for sharing.

Other information
During initial elaboration sessions the following solution was proposed as an option: Make use of the Provenance tag on the resource for filtering (rather than source tag). As the adapter and portal do not interact with Console configuration, Exchange could add provenance filter tags to queries if applicable. This would include the S1 unit numeric code. This option could be controlled in the Interweave Console and be optional (i.e. if nobody configures anything, all units will be shown as it does now). If entries are added to the configurable list specifying a unit, it would be possible to set these entries to either 'Clinical Safety Access' or 'Open'.

@James Young can we have a chat about what investigation has gone into this initially? What are the deliverables and what are the estimates.
Notts would support this feature, as becomes more important once an initial set of TPP units have been enabled for sharing ... i.e. as there is currently no facility for addition organisations / units to check what their data looks like in a clinical safety testing mode, without enabling that unit for every existing user at the same time.
