There is currently a regional sharing of imaging and reporting relating to most imaging modalities (CR, CT, MR, US, PET) available to acute clinicians. An imaging module could be added to the YHCR by purchasing an Agfa XEN node and adding it as a contextual launch. Most of the trusts use an EPR contextual launch to make it work.
This would bridge the gap between the YHCR and the Imaging Network.
This would give the YHCR access to the imaging and reports for:
North Lincs and Goole NHS FT
Hull University Hospitals
Leeds Teaching Hospitals
Bradford
Huddersfield
Calderdale
Airedale
Harrogate
Agree with Kris - this is a great opportunity for pan ICS and cross border data availability. Identified by Harrogate previously the importance of getting imagery such as ECGs into the YHCR for Primary Care.
Potentially this could be extended to the West Yorkshire area as they have a similar setup involving Sheffield, Rotherham etc.
