Currently we have a care home who are transitioning to an alternative management/owner. Discussed strategy for standing down the care home until the new organisation has completed the assurance activities. As this is a stand alone portal & tenancy, Emma advised that this should be fine to do (disabling tenancy and checking ODS code to make sure there are no changes and then reenabling once the new organisation has complete assurances), however we were also advised that if this had been an S1 unit or on a shared tenancy, those 'trust' relationships via context launch (either S1 or 'other') may be more difficult to disable/stand down.
Could potentially be an issue for organisations closing or changing contractual status/management in the future. Will likely need a process in place to manage organisation exit or transition. Plus assurances that technically orgs/individuals can be removed or stood down where needed
Hi Gayle,
As this is concerning operational/process changes rather than product development, we have promoted this idea to our new projects board to review.
We will work to develop an off-boarding strategy and update when progress is made.
Kind regards
