A number of Local Authorities have expressed an interest to access the interweave portal on a smartphone as it would be a significant benefit their community teams. The current web portal has been tested on tablet devices, but the user experience on a smartphone is not good enough to be of use.
Developing an app to display the portal on an Apple or Android device would enable the community teams to view the portal when away from the office, conducting home visits for example, and would have the potential to increase the usage of the portal throughout the region.
this is on the long term aspirational roadmap, but I will engage with a few development partners to get a feel for ballpark costings - I think it's something we need in the portfolio
