Hi - The Rotherham Foundation Trust have been asking for this and I passed the details of the DAS onto them. The trust have responded to say that:
'The data availability service only tells you if the patient is registered with a provider – not that the provider has any clinical data for that patient to share.
What we need to know is if each provider has any clinical resources for that patient, such as encounter, appointment, referral, allergy etc.'
Is this something that can be considered please?

Hi, this is already available through the DAS (Data Availability Service) which provides consumers with a mechanism to query the Exchange prior to launching a consumer UI. Please could you have a look at the design paper and let us know if you need further information, I'm not sure whether anyone is already using this service

this would be incredibly useful -- especially until the majority of providers are actually providing.
this would help prevent users drilling down where there is no prospect of useful information
