Visual Controls which support the sharing of unapproved documents

There is a clear benefit which has been demonstrated within the Leeds Care Record of sharing unapproved documents from acute organisations to primary care. This is said to supports effective transfer of care and leads to an a more joined up patient experience. In South Yorkshire we have recently met with Leeds to ask about the clinical safety case associated with seeing 'draft' information. They told us that this had been achieved through the use of visual controls as seen in the attached screenshots which use notifications and watermarks to alert a user to the fact that information is unapproved. Whilst some of the development to support this sits at an organisational level, this idea has been raised to consider how this would be presented in the Interweave Portal and also maybe handled by the Exchange.
