Develop UI pattern / custom panels to present a hierarchy of information resources

For two of our new data providers (Virtual Wards and Equipment) we need to present information resources together in a panel as the information is only meaningful if it is presented hierarchically.

E.g. For our Virtual Wards data provider we will be receiving the following resources:

  • Episode (a specific VW pathway with start/end dates)

  • Encounter (representing a group of remotely captured observations)

  • Observations (remotely captured observations including NEWS2)

Ideally we'd like to see all this information in one place so a user can get a clear view of the patient's 'stay' on the virtual ward and any changes to their condition. Encounter display may not add value depending on the UI design (i.e. it's the trend of the observations in an episode that have the real meaning)

It would also be useful if this panel could be configured to present specific resources (ideally with provider/provenance filters).

A similar model applies to our Equipment data provider (DeviceRequest > Device) so if this could be provided in a generic panel that would be great!

    Hi Toby

this is interesting and looks like it may tie in with a couple of other things

    1. Enhanced Encounters panel - ability to display linked groupings, and documents linked to encounters

    2. An idea raised in Notts https://interweave-portal.ideas.aha.io/ideas/P-I-107

I think it would be good to have a workshop, I'll look to include Notts and schedule
