The provision of medications data from different systems and a unified way of consuming this is a key priority for most stakeholders. The provision of structured GP Connect data will provide a first step for delivering an integrated view for Portal users, but there are also some organisations that are less digitally mature and/or using different systems where connection isn't so easy that have useful meds data that will support a complete view, to support patient safety and prescribing. Examples here are dentists and drug & alcohol services.
Can we investigate how we can support organisations with a lower digital maturity or where there are some barriers to data provision in providing medications data (but also other data/information) into Interweave?
hi Tara, we have an objective for next year around simplifying data provision, and making it feasible for providers beyond secondary care and large scale LA social care organisations
